The  U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has put out warnings to consumers regarding several Type 2 Diabetes prescription drugs currently on the market, as they could cause problems with ketoacidosis, a condition in which the patient has high levels of the acid, ketone, in the bloodstream due to the body producing it in response to the drugs actions.  The subject drugs are SGLT2 inhibitors, designed to cause secretion of blood sugar in the urine, but the adverse consequences of the three subject drugs can send patients to the emergency room and hospitalization.  The drugs are Invokana by J&J, Farxiga from AstraZeneca, and Jardiance from Lilly and Boehringer.   Ketoacidosis is a dangerous condition and should not be ignored.

If you or a loved one has suffered the adverse impact of any of the three mentioned Type 2 Diabetes SGLT2 inhibitor drugs, contact your medical provider immediately, and do not hesitate to contact Inserra & Kelley Law Offices for assistance and to see whether you may be entitled to compensation.
