A new day brings a new product recall for listeria concerns.  The newest recall is being done by Hy-Vee Grocery Stores due to the possibility of six of their trail mix products being contaminated.  The list includes Hy-Vee Caramel Cashew Honey Crunch Trail Mix, Hy-Vee Dark Chocolate Cranberry Trail Mix, Hy-Vee Mountain Trail Mix, Hy-Vee Mountain Trail Mix To Go, Hy-Vee Berry Trail Mix, and last but not least Hy-Vee Santa Fe Trail Mix.  Listeria infection is the most dangerous for the very young and very old, as well as any individuals with health issues that make them susceptible and weakened in regards to immunity.

If you or someone you know has any of these products in your home, either dispose of them promptly or return them to the store for a full refund.  If you or a loved one is suffering from symptoms like high fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headaches, stiffness, and nausea, and it is suspected it could be following the ingestion of one of the above products, see your medical provider immediately.  You may also feel free to call Inserra & Kelley Law Offices to discuss possible compensation you might be entitled to in the case of listeria infection from contaminated products.
