Nature Valley bar fans, take heed that General Mills has recalled four flavors of its Nature Valley Protein Chewy Bars and Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars. As we have previously reported, SunOpta’s sunflower seeds have been the cause of foodborne infections. The Nature Valley bars contain the seeds that may contain listeria monocytogenes. The company has asked its consumers to dispose of subject products they have in their homes and to call General Mills at (866)896-4365 for replacements.
If you or someone you know have any of these products in your home, dispose of them promptly. If you or a loved one is suffering from symptoms like high fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, headaches, stiffness, and nausea, and it is suspected it could be following the ingestion of one of the above products, see your medical provider immediately. You may also feel free to call Inserra & Kelley Law Offices to discuss possible compensation you might be entitled to in the case of listeria infection from contaminated products.
A partner with Inserra & Kelley, Attorneys At Law since 1993, Craig Kelley focuses on personal injury law with a large emphasis on motorcycle and bicycle related cases and claims with the goal of first helping clients heal and then getting speedy resolution of their disputes.
